John took over leadership of the Falmouth Chorale and brought both the size and the level of the group to new heights. He founded and directed numerous other groups, from the auditioned Chamber Singers to the Falmouth Chamber Players Orchestra to the Cape Conservatory Youth Chorale. He produced high-quality (and increasingly sold-out) concerts featuring the greatest classical pieces alongside popular music and little-known gems.

The hallmark of John as a musician and a music leader is that he draws the highest possible musical result out of his musicians and provides excellent musical experiences to his audience.

You brought the Falmouth Chorale to a level of musicianship that it could never have even dreamed of twelve years ago, so our pride in ourselves has grown from year to year as we have seen ourselves steadily improving.
